Dr. Jason Clapp and Dr. Jessica Bell are
trained specialists in pediatric dentistry. They are partners in
providing children with excellent oral health care in a positive,
caring environment. They strive to prevent dental disease by
educating both you and your children. The doctors and their team
help to ease any anxieties that their patients might have and do
their best to ensure a great visit to the dentist (for YOU and your
child)!
Dr. Clapp hails from the Hawkeye State. He received his Bachelor of
Arts degree from Wartburg College in 1995 and his Doctor of Dental
Surgery degree from the University of Iowa in 1999. Dr. Bell is a
native Texan. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and
received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992. She attended Baylor
College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in
2002.
Both doctors continued their dental education with further
specialized training in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of
Dentistry. Their training included residencies at Children’s Medical
Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in
Dallas. Dr. Clapp and Dr. Bell both received their Certificates of
Pediatric Dentistry and are board eligible with the American Board
of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Clapp and Bell are active members in many organizations
including: American Dental Association, American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry,
Paul P. Taylor Dental Society, and the Greater Dallas Pediatric
Dental Society.
Dr. Clapp and Dr. Bell believe in being active in their community.
They support local youth sports teams, local schools, community
arts, the cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy foundations. They
are also participants in Give-A-Kid-A-Smile program. On a personal
note, Dr. Clapp and Bell are married and are the proud parents to
Anabelle and Charlotte. When they are not working, they enjoy
spending time with their family and traveling.
